I agree. The first time I saw the Zapruder Film it was being presented by the comedian and political activist Dick Gregory who was making the college circuit with the film. When I saw the “head shot” for the first time I thought WTF.
Five words from Jim Garrison also make me believe the head shot was a frontal shot: “Back and to the left.” ...”Back and to the left.”
Shall I believe the Warren Commission Report and the “Oswald Was The Lone Gunman” finding or the Zapruder Film and my lying eyes?

Actually not. One shot missed, that is known. It could have caused Tague's cut. But most likely it was fragment from the headshot. Either way, there's no problem there for having three shots.
Bingo. I never bought his head exploding and jerking backwards was an “exit wound”. The brain spatter and skull fragments would have blown onto the hood, not the trunk. And that’s what Jackie was doing on the trunk, retrieving skull or some such, because she was trying to keep him in one piece.
And the things that happened afterwards, the broken evidence chains, autopsy, rushing the body back to DC...
but the main thing it comes down to for me is that Zapruder film and the physics etc.
