I have spent the last couple years preparing for a collapse. That said I say if Christie is the nominee I will not vote. If it takes a collapse to get the GOPe to realize that the base will not support dems that they put up so be it. I dont care how much lipstick they put on that pig Christie I will not vote for him. I think the Roves and the Priebuses have already run the calculus figures and they're confident that they have just enough rubes who either
- Always vote for the "R" no matter what; or
- Don't pay attention much, and are attracted to bright, shiny ad campaigns that sound kinda Republican and have candidates with good hair; or
- Are squishy GOP voters who can be cajoled, threatened and/or browbeaten into going along with their anointed RINO candidate.
You'll see the threats trying to scare the squishies. Watch for the posts here on FreeRepublic shortly after Krispy Kreme's the nominee, saying things like "Hillary thanks you for your vote".

(I'm a Christian, pro-life, pro-gun, Reaganite. The GOP hates me. Why should I vote for them?)
The other textbook trick that the GOP-e
always deploys is, "Republican X can't win. He's too Conservative." And then they gin up a bunch of match-up polls showing the Conservative losing badly to the Democrat and the GOP-e guy losing, but very competitive, with a chance, if everybody only gets behind the GOP-e candidate.
Watch to see just when Rove and Co. will deploy this tactic. It will come.
