Progressives since Wilson have made elections mean less and less. Courts and the executive branch make more important law than Congress. I've never missed an election and don't intend to, but don't kid yourself thinking elections alone will stop the march of tyranny.
Midterm elections such as 2014 often do not see grand turnouts for the dems, thus they will likely not prevail.
If 2014 results in increasing the House and taking the Senate conservative, then nobama will have only two choices, our way or the highway.
We still hold 5 of 9 in the SCOTUS, the trouble is not much of true significance comes up. They stood with the 2nd Amendment and yes nobamacare, but in a round about way opposing the Commerce Clause, which no SCOTUS has been willing to render unconstitutional and thus Roberts made it a tax (a landmine poison pill that has a better opportunity to kill nobamacare, I think).
If nobama choses to go against Congress (depending on 2014 of course), that will come to the SCOTUS and they will find for the Constitution.
If neither the Courts or Administration adhere to any other parts of the Constitution, why on earth would they if we held an Article 5? A better preparation will be for R2 rather that Art. 5.
