I like a good laugh, that’s why I go to Above Top Secret once in awhile. But what I don’t like is stuff like that spilling into a conservative forum where I go to get real news.

I think truth666s threads and posts were all deleted, I could only find one thread. Anyways, yosemetite is probably bluesmover. Sounds just like him.

Reading the tinfoil stuff in the comment sections at space.com and Leonid Elenin’s site provides amusement as well.
Not all of truth666’s stuff was removed.
Some can still be read.

You have an interesting take on gravitational physics. I was not aware that the sun wielded a ball bat to "smack" anything with.

M'kay, pay attention. Roche limit passed, gravitational stresses rip apart comet nucleus, pieces of nucleus are give tangential vectors because of being ripped apart, tangential vectors are magnified by being imposed during highest speed of object whipping around sun, magnification of tangentiality is caused by tangential imposition at the very start of the exit path from the sun, pieces of the object maintain statistical mean around original vector away from sun, statistical mean is not affected by spreading cone of tangentially impacted Roche limit destruction derived separation of pieces of nucleus, cone of potentially destructive material continues to expand along original vector away from sun towards Earth.

Quick Critical Thinking Lesson

” towards Earth.”

That’s where your “critical thinking” fails miserably.
The orbit doesn’t come close to us on the outbound run.
No, any possible “coning” of debris also will not be severe enough to reach us.
Again, example of shoemaker-levy 9 which had two years to “spread out” before hitting Jupiter.

Quick Critical Thinking Lesson

OK.. Now apply it to your own answer.

cone of potentially destructive material continues to expand along original vector away from sun...

Why, yes it does. Kindly note in your own wording the words "along original vector." This original vector - how many degrees removed from the plane of the elliptic was/is it? So then, how many degrees off the plane of the elliptic is the current outbound vector that by both the laws of physics and your own admission is the same as the original vector?

towards Earth.

Was the original vector in any possible way going to intersect Earth's orbit? If not, then maybe you need to choose a different wording here. Try this visualization. You are in a field. You are running across that field, let's say East. I am standing 9 miles from you and I fire a projectile of some sort in the direction of the field you are running in at an angle such that this projectile will pass 4 miles over your head at its closest point to you. Is this projectile heading towards you? And if you insist that it is heading "towards" you is the fact that it will pass four miles over your head a reason for you to act like Chicken Little, or would that be irrational?

The evil cone of destruction from comet Ison will pass Earth's orbit (93,000,000 miles from the sun - 1AU) around December 29 at which time it will be 40,362,000 miles - .434 AU ABOVE us. The sky is falling... We're all gonna die... Say, you don't also watch/listen to Alex Jones do you?

Based on the enormous initial momentum along with the increase due to the slingshot effect I think its intuitively safe to say the debris will travel along trajectories with a relatively moderate conical divergence from the original one. This is why we have annual meteor showers. The debris tend to stay In a cloud like stream.

Thanks, Yosemitest. With the acquisition of a Vitamix, we’ve recently upped our intake of raw fruits and vegetables. Not only are they delicious, but I have found that I have more energy. Unfortunately we haven’t been shopping recently and thus the need for a nap. Eating right makes such a difference.

My pleasure.
Look, I don't know if you like greens like spinach, turnip and turnip greens, collards, cabbage, mustard greens, and all types of dark green leafy vegetables, but you can't get a better source of micro-nutrients.
If you don't know it canola oil is the worst for clogging the key holes to the cells and extra virgin olive oil is very good for cleaning the key holes to help with the transfer of insulin into the cells.
I've got to have a little southern corn bread with my greens and a nice beef roast is great with them.

Gee..go back through the thread to post 82 and look at the darn orbital diagram of Ison again..then ask yourself a serious question.
“Does that line in any way intersect our orbit?”
(No, it does not and never will.)
Post 89 has a link to the final orbit of shoemaker-levy 9.
The debris from that had two years to spread out.
It turned into a wagon train line.
It broke up in the same way ison did.
Now apply those critical thinking skills, as you say you can.

I like baby spinach and various lettuces. I only use extra virgin olive oil, but my husband sometimes uses peanut oil as well. It’s taken me a number of years, but canola oil is no longer welcome at our house. Corn bread is delicious, especially with some chopped jalapeno added to the batter.

You can go to Youtube and research Raws Food Diets, and focus on micro-nutrients.
I don't recommend an all raw food diet, but some of the information about micro-nutrients they give is really good.
What I've been looking for on micro-nutrients is over 3 years old on youtube, and I can't find it, but it's there somewhere. It'll show how good healthy foods clean the key-holes to the cells that allow insulin to go into our cells and work, and how bad fats and bad oils will damage our cells.
This video is okay but it isn't the one I'm searching for.

I liked Bluesmover with his “I FEAR we will find out!” announcement about comet Elenin.

And here we are, 2013, well after our fiery demise by Elenin.
All hail us, the dead that aren’t.

Gosh, must have slept right through that. I'm awake now. I'm going to go run some tests and make certain you aren't being honest.
