It’s true, but all democrats “govern” this way, that is, their method is a perpetual campaign against the Republicans which serves to keep the low information voters riled up and ready to vote dem. Add the driveby and the entertainment (entertain the masses) media 24/7 propaganda, and it’s any wonder that an R gets elected.

I remember Clinton didn’t do anything without his Steponallofus/Carville/Begala focus group first telling them which way to go. Government by finger in the air... Government by personal destruction. Government by perpetual campaigning.

It’s no way to govern at all. It gives us things like 10,000 page health care laws and last minute graft and sweetheart deals to politicians on their way out the door, like in the movie Lincoln.

I’m not gonna let the Republicans off the hook, either. Bush tried this crap with regard to the Hispanics and amnesty. In my not so humble opinion, they tried that (Bush, McCain, Graham) because they’re misguided into thinking that will give them a new pool of voters when we all know it will immediately become a dem voting block. They also know big business likes the cheap workers, especially when natural born Americans get uppity and expect a decent wage.

But if they (Bush admin) were actually trying to govern, they would’ve built a wall right after 9-11. A wall twenty feet high with razor wire and broken glass on top with robotic laser beams tracking every object approaching it.

slight correction to your observation, in my majority minority city:

especially when the work entails showing up every day, and actually breaking a sweat.

The downside to the current pool of hard workers ‘without papers’, their children will be just as reluctant to break a sweat as today’s natural-born citizens.

My comments are observational only, not supportive of anyone living and working here without official authorization.

Fortunately its gonna cost the dems a lot this time to get the dems to the polls unless fraud reaches new heights which is not impossible with this regime.
