The first part of the posted article reminds us of the extraordinary and vastly disproportionate contributions of Jews (almost all working in the US, Europe, or Israel) to the advancement of medical science, since the late nineteenth century. It's hard for many people alive today to realize how swiftly these medical advancements came about and the tremendous positive impact they have had on mankind as a whole, whether by contributions of Jews or others. Life expectancy in developed countries, for example, has just about doubled.

The political left has to be rankled by the fact that these great contributions to the well-being of mankind were almost exclusively the product of the hard work and beneficence of white males, with Jews represented disproportionately. It further disturbs the leftist mind set that most of these incredible steps forward in medical history were done without government assistance or involvement.

With Obamacare and other socialized medical schemes, the Left is acting out its resentment against the tide of medical progress. Although not discussed too often, Obamacare disincentivizes medical research in the United States with, for example, its taxes on pharmaceutical companies and medical device developers. The US had been the world leader in the advancement of medical science and technology for decades, in large measure because it had the least socialistic health care system, and that position is threatened.

Jewish leftists in particular who support Obamacare, especially doctors like Obamacare "inventor" Zeke ("The Freak") Emanuel, are trampling on the glorious history of Jewish contribution to the advancement of medical science.

Thanks for the ping. I have wondered for a long while if Obamacare will serve to bring truly life-affirming Jewish doctors home, leaving behind the Zeke the Freaks to worship and profit from their false gods of government and power.

Impossible Obamacare edicts are causing doctors to be driven out of their profession. How many Jewish doctors, previously content to live in galut, now have new motivation to get up and go. Obamacare has removed many reasons for living in the US, and not just for doctors. The choice to make aliyah has surely become attractive for the best of the best. How many of their patients will then follow their doctors?
