The GOP needs an updated Contract With America. A pro-growth, small government, constitutional platform to run on instead of running against the Marxist democrats.
Kudlow is an open-borders, Rino-e Statist.
Is and has always been a go-along to get-along type.
AND he has been wrong on his economic projections for years.
How and why he is still on the air/wires/web providing opinipn pieces is beyond me.
SDS? what a douche, BWahahahahh!!!
Larry K. is correct.
The critics want shout about what they would do if they were king.
That is meaningless whining.
Telling public sector employees they must contribute to their bloated pensions, doesn’t qualify as a tax, and certainly doesn’t merit conservative opposition.
Returning the control of spending to the Congress, instead of leaving the discretion to the White House under a continuing resolution, is a great achievement.
If you want to complain about the TSA fee shifting from all tax payers to those who fly.....grow up! Arguing the merits of the TSA is a different discussion.
Don't bother to reply
Gee, this budget defunds military pensions and funds 0DeathCare. John Roberts told us that 0DeathCare IS a tax. Guess Kuddles didn't get that news.
He just showed that the governing class can close ranks.
And that is where the citizens of Kentucky and South Carolina must MUST rise up and send a shot across the bow! Patriots in each state must figure out a way of rising up and raise up viable alternatives (ones who cherish the Constitution) to the entrenched power-elite and getting them elected into office. The media must be ignored/overcome once the smear starts (for the media will assist a McConnell, a Graham as they know them to be milquetoasts). Money must not be allowed to buy elections. Ideas must triumph. The Constitution must triumph.
Pie in the sky?...or...our only hope!
SoFlo,
I concur with you and Kudlow. I’m also a military retiree. The press will hang us with ‘shutdown’ again, after we have gotten them to focus on the failures of ObamaNOcare. We can’t squander that.
If they give you RINO’s, vote 3rd party. Starve the beast. By voting for a RINO you (we) are only selecting a slower form of national suicide anyway.
Who knows...maybe the Republican Party (as currently constituted) will die off before the nation does and there will be something left to restore.
The author of the article is a false prophet, therefore the article itself is not credible.
Dear SoFlo, I am with you. I’m ok with the bill - let’s decapitate Obamacare and fill the Senate with Republicans.
Dirty Harry will never let a bill to repeal ObamaNOcare come to a vote in the Senate and bh0 will never sign a bill repealing it. That is a fact that can’t be argued with. We keep up the pressure on the political front getting the people informed about ObamaNOcare’s destruction of American medical system so that even they will realize that they need to vote for house and senate candidates who will vote to repeal it in the next session of congress. And then bh0 will hang himself and the dem party with his vetoes. And a republican senate can back the House move to defund
If the democraps and media are fawning all over the GOP for this deal then it must be worse than we thought...
Larry sometimes drinks a little too much of the purple Kool Aid.
Kudlow is a complete tool who, if I recall, was orgasmic upon the election of Barry. He would not know a communist revoltion from the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade.
I’m really going to throw cold water on this whole thing.
None of it matters, either way.
- The GOP’s goal in 2014 is to squash conservatism. They do-not-care about jobs, the economy or ObamaCare except as campaign issues. And they won’t even do a half ass job in that regard, especially after they finish alienating conservatives. The number of conservatives we got into the House was greater that most imagined possible. What do we have to show for that? Boehner and company are still in charge and have declared open war on conservatism. We couldn’t even get a conservative speaker out of this. Hell, we couldn’t even get rid of Boehner for anyone else.
- The economy, spending and the out of control despotism of the federal government are, short of a biblical miracle, un-fixable. Even without the suicidal attacks on conservatives by the GOP, the prospects of putting enough conservative Senators in to do anything significant are miniscule.
We are now fighting because it is the right and moral thing to do, because we have no other choice. Not because there is any prospect of turning back what is coming.
No point in flaming me for negativism. I’m just the messenger stating the facts.
Sure they will.
The DNCGOP will make things right......not.
It will be business as usual and the Tyrants will continue to line their and their corporate cronies pockets. At this point a complete collapse and rebuild over 50 years will be the only thing to save the future generations. The current generation in power has failed miserably and should be ashamed they have squandered what was handed to them.
I agree with you. We’re out numbered.... the “change” is going to happen. My goal has become find the best outcome for me and my family possible. Understand what the environment will be, and make the very best of it I can. Honestly... that’s where I am. I’m going to vote right and do my civic deal. But we have to understand the reality that is coming and how to survive or even be successful in the “new world”.
Both I am afraid.
I don't know how Bevin is polling here, but my gut feeling is that if Mitch is successful in destroying him with slash and burn tactics then the Dems get the seat. Conservatives in KY are not voting for him this time around. The Dems know this and are practically creaming in their panties. They're basically supporting McConnell right now for that reason.
I simply can't vote for that SOB RINO again and look in the mirror.
It irks me to no end to keep hearing about 2014 gains being the goal. I don’t think we’ll take anything because of fraud and even if we do, the Administration won’t recognize their ‘authority’.
If these worthless cowards were serious about representing the people they’d fight now, not some time in the future. This budget funds Obamacare for TWO years, that’s where the fight should have been.
The people are on their side now and they could have refused to fund it but they didn’t. Their lust for power is as frightening as Democrats.
They should have drawn the line now and risked their majority to save the country from Obamacare but there’s really no one there to help us.
