This means the details are fatal to O’care and the Dem’s chances in 2014.

Screw ‘em!

There is no “security” issue here.
It’s all political.

democraps being embarrassed is no reason for secrecy, just the opposite!

“immediate classified briefing”

How transparent

It's healthcare, not national defense.

They have really screwed the pooch if they have to hide stuff.

This means that the damning information already released to the press is exponentially worse than the reality.

I would guess that the administration is actively covering up incidents of identity theft, financial malfeasance, and exorbitance along with criminal incompetence on the part of HHS and the White House.

because they “include software code and other technical information that is highly sensitive” and could give hackers

Which of course would be redacted anyway.

My guess is that MITRE told the WH that the site was seriously flawed as far as security was concerned. Probably the information got to Sebellius and/or Obama and they rejected it because the deadline was their most important priority.

Levin, Waxman, etc. are trying to muddy the waters by making Issa seem insensible to security issues because they know what's coming.

“It is reckless in the extreme for Chairman Issa or any member to possess these documents without a full understanding of the extremely sensitive information they contain and the widespread damage that could be caused if they got into the wrong hands,”

"The wrong hands" = the voters and the "widespread damage" = Dems up for reelection in 2014.

“It is reckless in the extreme for Chairman Issa or any member to possess these documents without a full understanding of the extremely sensitive information they contain and the widespread damage that could be caused if they got into the wrong hands,” they added.

These documents describe how FedGov spent $600M+ of our money. The only sensitive part is the shocking corruption behind granting these noncompetitive contracts to those with connections.

That is a lie right there, "In a separate letter to Boehner and Pelosi, the White House legal counsel warns the documents would, if disclosed, “provide information to potential hackers that increases the risk they could penetrate HealthCare.gov.”

If there was such a risk in those documents, then the companies involved would not have turned them over. That is the huge false flag argument they want to make, whatever is in those documents means something way more than what a few hackers care to get their hands on.

The question becomes what does the government want ...WANT... so freakingly desperately from individual citizens and ...non-citizens...? What blackmail of the public is at hand?

It is time we demand the full disclosure of who is getting paid off in this Ponzi scheme.

the widespread damage that could be caused if they got into the wrong hands

Now, they've got my attention.

How could the damage be more widespread than what they've done already?

Even in the majority, House Republicans will be led by the tail by Democrats, to satisfy Democrat interests.

Just watch and see.

The most transparent administration in history is classifying documents on something like health care? Publish them Rep Issa, send them to wikileaks.

Well, FRiends.... MITRE corporation is a CIA front company. It has been party to the largest security hacking in the past, by German hackers onto the milnet. This was covered in an excellent book by Clifford Stoll who managed computers at Lawrence Berkeley Labs, and the E. German hackers broke into them.... and billed MITRE for the computer time.

The book is called The Cuckoo’s Egg: Tracking a Spy Through the Maze of Computer Espionage is a 1989 book. With the help of Tymnet, he eventually tracked the intrusion to a call center at MITRE, a “defense contractor” in McLean, Virginia. A CIA front company provided docs to Issa, most likely damaging to dems.. watch them use the “classified” categorization to try to suppress.

““We do not believe these sensitive documents should have been provided to the Committee without adequate protocols to safeguard their contents,” the Democrats wrote in their letter “But now that they have, we have an obligation to understand the harm that would be caused if these documents were disclosed.”

For once I believe the Democrats have a point. The documents would be harmful to them.
