A Florida man allegedly sought revenge by shooting at his Walmart co-worker's car. Willie Mitchell drove up to the parking lot of a Walmart, pulled a gun and opened fire on his co-worker's vehicle. According to police, Mitchell was angry the car's owner had just been named Walmart's "Employee of the Month." Mitchell allegedly said he believed the victim deserved it and told her "I'm gonna show you."

One might be forgiven, I think, for believing that this guy has certain... uh... anger issues.

It does not say what kind of car it was.

It does not tell the religious affiliation of either party.

Not enough evidence.

I will have to reserve my opinion.

Well employee of the month gets to park in the blue spots near the front of the store and gets a special EOM pin for their smock. No wonder he was mad.

Odds are pretty good that poor Willie wouldn’t be getting “Employee of the Month” EVER, instead he got fired.

Another happy ending.

This is what happens when everyone gets a trophy for “participation”, the schools are no longer choosing students of the month, teachers can not use red pens, sports teams do not keep score. Eventually the competitive nature of life will present itself and the coddled individual is not prepared.

Megyn Kelly had a piece on her show last night which highlighted the fact that job interviews may not ask if a person has a criminal past.

People like this will get a free pass.....again.

This country is swirling the drain.

The workplace atmosphere is becoming more and more like a heated political campaign where underlying partisanship and social divisiveness hurts the best person for the task at hand...especially if he (or even she) is non-union, Climate Change-denying and conservative. Liberals in the workplace can make things extremely difficult for conservatives to simply be themselves. This is not how business is done but how “social justice” is supposedly done by amateurs.

We know that insanity is one of the things that is in every mass shooting.

This man is insane and should be in an institution, but we will wait until he kills more people before we do anything.

My hope is that at least he will not pass a background check to buy another weapon.

Will this affect Willie’s license to carry?

Or is he in the privileged minority that doesn’t need to worry about those technicalities, because violations bring a slap on the wrist?

Willie Mitchell used to be a good hockey player with the Minnesota Wild.

Hope it’s not that Willie.
