It’s a fair question. Can YOU answer it, is the next one.
If he’s a RINO, then he’s no better than a Dem. If he’s a squish “moderate” then that’s almost as bad.
In the case of RINO or squish, yes - it WOULD be better if a hardcore Dem won, because at least then you know he’s the enemy and don’t have to worry about him caving in on some important piece of legislation - or worse, “reaching out across the aisle” to his Comrades at every opportunity.
Better the POS you know, than the one that stabs you when it does the most damage. These times are too important to elect people who talk out of both sides of their face.
If he’s a Conservative - an American and one of us, that is, then good for you guys. That’s a definite win and I’m glad to hear it.
Otherwise... as I said, it’s a fair question that needs to be answered.
