Heres a good one; a Mexican man who came to the U.S. illegally as a youth is suing a state agency for discrimination because it refuses to hire him for using a fake Social Security to work for nearly a decade.
Its as if a bold and extremely confident class of illegal alien has emerged in the last few years. The case comes out of northern California and it involves a naturalized American citizen who could easily serve as the poster child for President Obamas Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), a special amnesty for youths brought to the U.S. illegally through no fault of their own.
The man in this case, Victor Guerrero, came to the U.S. illegally from Mexico when he was 11, according to the nonprofit legal group representing him. At the age of 15 he got a job in a restaurant using someone elses Social Security. He did that for around seven years before somehow becoming a legal U.S. resident in 2007. Unbelievably, three years later he became an American citizen.
When Guerrero applied for a job as a prison guard with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, the fake Social Security scam caught up to him. He passed all the required tests, both physical and written, and agreed to the mandatory background check. The state agency rightfully denied employment, stating that he lacked honesty, integrity and good judgment after learning about his Social Security scam.
Guerrero applied for the prison guard job a second time and again was refused the position over using a bogus Social Security to work for seven years. The State Personnel Board upheld the corrections departments decision and this month Guerrero filed a discrimination lawsuit against both agencies in federal court. In his laughable complaint Guerrero claims that the policy excluding criminals from being hired violates fair employment laws and unfairly hurts Latino job applicants.
By filing this case, Mr. Guerrero seeks to vindicate the right of work-authorized job applicants to be fairly considered for employment opportunities without their prior undocumented status being held against them, says an announcement released by the group, Legal Aid Society, handling the case. It also quotes Guerrero playing the race card: Those who are legally authorized to work should be able to do so regardless of their race, accent or the country they come from.
The nonsense goes on as the group essentially implies this is a government-wide problem, writing that agencies practice of denying employment opportunities unfairly discriminates against persons of Hispanic national origin. The problem will only get worse, according to the Legal Aid Society, as greater numbers of formerly undocumented individuals obtain legal authorization to work. It is imperative that they not be kept from doing so by employers who aim to weed them out because of their ethnic or national origin.
While this case has many unique qualities, its hardly the first in which an illegal immigrant sues a government agency in the United States for discrimination. A few years ago an undocumented alien from El Salvador filed a federal lawsuit against sheriff deputies in Marylands Frederick County for unlawfully and unconstitutionally detaining and interrogating her based solely on her race or ethnicity. The powerful open borders movement got involved and the woman was granted supervised release for humanitarian reasons while she tried milking a U.S. law enforcement agency out of $1 million for asking a few questions.
Around the same time five Muslim illegal immigrants detained in New York after Middle Eastern terrorists attacked the area won $1.26 million from the U.S. government to settle a lawsuit accusing federal authorities of violating their rights. The illegal aliens were among 170 Arab and Muslim men jailed for immigration law violations in New York during post 9/11 roundups and most have been deported.
If I were elected President today- tomorrow I would give a 45 day window for all illegal aliens to vacate the country - then issue an executive order allowing any LEGAL US Citizen to seize any property owned or in possession of any illegal alien while tagging & bagging them for transportation back to the border or shipped back to the nation they came from - and if the illegal alien took an armed stance - then force would be legal in defense of the LEGAL US Citizen - meaning, the illegal wouldn’t have the protection or rights as the citizen...as per all the Kenyans and other Middle Eastern types - same would apply! While this was going on - all those you’ve spent 3 yrs or more on Welfare would be given 1 yr to earn a skill and get back to work. Self-accountability and being responsible would be the standard - not an option. It’s time we get back to being competitive and stop all this pathetic hand outs!
Sounds crazy - I know - but these are crazy times...
Let the criticisms begin:_______type here______
A friend of mine whose married name is Hispanic had her SS# used by an illegal for 11 years before they were able to get any action from anyone. Every year, they reported to the IRS that they did not owe taxes for the money that was paid to a worker at a furniture factory near San Francisco and that they did not even live in CA. Next year, they would receive another notice demanding payment for past taxes.
Finally, my friend’s husband called the furniture factory and told them that he was holding a W-2 from their factory in wife’s name and that she did not work in his factory. The factory person argued with him until my friend told him that he was going to notify the immigration authorities. That ended it.
I represented a client with the same problem. Took the IRS 8 months to cancel the bogus assessment. There were actually two of them, one in Arizona and the other in Tennessee. I asked the IRS how did my client work simultaneously in three different states? They never even thought about that. I asked the IRS why they don't go after the identity thieves and they said "We don't know where they are." I said that's BS, you've got a W-2 that tells you where they worked and it has their address on it...duh. The IRS actually protects these scumbags.
No backlash if not reported in media.
I think that is a problem with Jan Brewer and DACA.
A court in California will rule against her on illegals driving then they will have to wait for SCOTUS.
He deserves life in prison.
Guerrero wants the court to award him unspecified pain, suffering and punitive damages, with interest and adjusted for inflation and to restore his eligibility to become a correctional officer. He also asked the court to ban the state from disqualifying job applicants who have used a Social Security number other than their own.
