Somebody explain to me how this country is any different from Sodom.

Sodom didn't have the sins and consequences of Sodom to learn from. We did. That makes us orders of magnitude worse.

That's a good point. Also, Sodom wasn't dedicated to God at its founding, as this country was. We have a lot to answer for.
