Used to be that “bashed” literally meant physical harm done to them.

That was my thought too. It’s not like he was leading lynch parties to hunt “them” down and string them up. Yesterday it was “inflammatory” comments. Today it’s “bashing”. WTH? Now I read the naacp is getting in on the act as well.
