I am in a Union and no shows to a mandatory vote are counted as a no vote. By not attending you are voting no. If your schedule conflicts with the day of the vote you ample time to go in and cast your vote.

Read his book "Unintimidated". One Helluva eye-opener as to how the unions and Democrats fight ANY change or challenge to their power. We're all aware of their tactics, but his experience was a real eye-opener.
