Peter King: Rand Paul 'disgraced' his office (Barf alert!)
CNN ^ | 12/19/13 | Dava Davidsen

(CNN) - Rep. Peter King said fellow Republican Sen. Rand Paul owes the nation’s top intelligence official an apology after saying he should resign for “lying” to a Senate committee about a controversial surveillance program.

The New York congressman also said that Paul's comparison of National Intelligence Director James Clapper to NSA leaker Edward Snowden is "absolutely disgraceful."

"For Senator Paul to compare that patriot, General Clapper, with someone like Snowden, who is a traitor, who has put American lives at risk - Senator Paul should be ashamed of himself," King said Thursday on CNN’s “The Situation Room.”

"It's an absolute disgrace. He disgraced his office and he owes General Clapper an apology immediately."

"King said these Republicans calling for Clapper’s resignation are part of "the isolationist wing of the party." Sure, and I, for one, am damn proud to belong to that wing. And the article claims that King is a 2016 Presidential contender. On what planet? Sarah Silverman would have a better chance of getting the GOP nomination than Peter King.

Yeah, every once in awhile King gets a whiff of that DC weed and starts thinking he can be elected president. Drummer than a sack of hammers I say....

King voted against defunding the NSA surveillance on American citizens. If anyone owes an apology to the American people it’s him and whoever else in Congress voted to keep this spying on all Americans going.

Read Krauthammer’s column today on the federal takeover of the health insurance industry — astonishing rule by edict telling private companies what to do and not to do without the slightest legal authority. WHERE are the Republicans in Congress, other than Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and a few others in the House?? Too many are out there like Peter King, the red-faced crybaby Speaker, Cantor, McCain, Flake, Graham and others - savagely CRITICIZING THEIR “FELLOW” Republicans and SILENT, except when others like Cruz take the lead and the heat from the press and the situation gets too far out of control in the destruction of the national private healthcare system by the lies and fraud perpetrated by the opposition, to whom the likes of Peter King, McCain and the Crybaby say nothing.

His whole claim to fame was jumping on the Rah, rah bus after 911. He was all over the tough guy on terrorists lineup on all the talkies. How much you wanna bet he is also a client of the DC Superlawyer Bob Barnett who writes virtually all of the talking head contracts with all the cable news networks, both both left and right. Read “This Town” to get the details of just how slimy DC really is.

So, with King’s gullet full of I am a tea partier blather from the 2010 elections, he then starts this elitist crap to show who he really is, Just another typical self absorbed lying politician who thinks he can bully his way over anyone who is taking a smidgeon of the spotlight away from him.

Hey Peter, piss off, your gangster routine doesn’t work on us, no matter how deep in the barrio you think your accent needs to be to accomplish your ends. BTW, I agree you protesteth too much. Just what is it that Obama’s goons have on you? What’s-a-matter, you afraid we will find out? Just keep that yap going because sooner or later you will tell us and not even know you did. I suppose you will blame that on Rand Paul too.

If these insurance companies were worth anything they would just refuse to comply with fiat law, citing the administration with having no authority... but 1) they are all crony capitalists and 2) the law was written in such a way that the executive can do whatever it wants.

Easiest solution is regime change. More Rand Pauls in congress. Less quisling scumbag Pete Kings.

Sarah Silverman would have a better chance of getting the GOP nomination than Peter King.

Don't give them any ideas.

Most politicians believe the world revolves around them; New York politicians believe the universe revolves around them. Peter King is getting a two-fer here; he's putting bumpkins in their place AND enjoying the illusion that the galaxy is currently rotating about the axis of his head.

Peter King finds it more comfortable fighting the teaparty than fighting for the people against the socialist machine that has taken hold. Thansk for your support turncoat

Paul will last longer in the primaries than King will. If King gets above 5%, I’ll eat this post.

There was a time when I really liked Peter King, but he has become a whackadoodle! I got no use, now, for the Northeastern Liberal/Progressive Republican!

Peter King was a supporter of the radical leftist IRA.
It’s hysterical that he is Chairman of Homeland Security Subcommittee on Counterintelligence & Terrorism.

What does Obama have on Peter King? I would love to know.
