States shouldn’t look to federal judges for guidance on matters that are outside the purview of the federal government. Since marriage is not mentioned in the constitutionally enumerated powers of the federal government, it is, therefore, a matter “...reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” Ditto abortion.

I've never met a group of people so proud of their state, and determined to keep the spirit of 1836 alive. It would not take a whole lot for me to load up the truck and head back that way.

How is it unconstitutional when any man can marry any woman and any woman can marry any man, what everybody in this world knows marriage to be. They have the same rights and you and me and the judge knew that. To say anything else is twisting the truth. This judge is questionable. I wonder how long before his true orientation comes out.
