Which means if falls under the purvey of the 10th amendment and thus to the individual states. Which is what the naive fools in the Senate and House thought argued would stand when Republicans held majorities in both during the Bush years and fought against an amendment defining marriage as between a man and a woman--it was up to the individual states. Needless to say, the left doesn't sleep, doesn't respect federalism, and is quite willing to shove their way through by whatever means they can.

So there you have it. The 14th amendment all but destroyed the 10th amendment--at least if you accept any backwards and nonsensical belief as adopted by whatever liberal pervert group happens to be next.
