Many many years ago, in the South they use to lynch people. All of those people were innocent according to the television.

Obviously, defiance of the rule of law is deplorable. But, do you have any basis for the claim that "many" persons who were lynched were innocent?

You just wait when some of the four will as a result of plea bargaining be convicted of something like ‘involuntary vehicular homicide’ or of ‘jaywalking’. That is the picture of your “rule of law” today. No humour.
