Well yeah, but nobody believes that a banking cartel runs the world so I thought big oil might be more credible. Ever since Jekyll Island, it's been down hill for humanity by fits and starts ... with a few wars to do resets of economies.

The money men do run the world. Without them nothing moves. They do run the world. The oil companies go to the bank to borrow the money to drill for oil. They handle the sales of the oil by transferring the funds from buyer to seller.
This is how it works with every product that is bought and sold. Money is borrowed to fight wars, build bridges, airplanes, literally everything. Why do you think the bankers wield so much authority?
