And I tend to agree with Marotta. There won't be a catastrophic melt down. Instead there will likely continue to be a long dollar destroying, wealth destroying tyrannical march towards full government control.
The decline of Weimar Germany wasn’t anywhere near a calamitous collapse, and 1930s America during the Depression was a precipitous collapse with little civil or social unrest. It takes an enormous social upheaval to cause a collapse that would result in widespread rioting, looting, and debauchery. It never hurts to be prepared for any eventuality.
Look at what happened to Bosnia and Serbia in the 90s. The absolute devastation and depravity in those countries during their civil war was the stuff of nightmares.
They will confiscate everyone’s retirement savings which will prolong it a little while.
