House Report: Al Qaeda in Maghreb and Al Qaeda-Linked Ansar al-Sharia Did Benghazi

“...The report says the State Department quickly notified the White House that the attack was taking place in Benghazi, and that within two hours of the start of the attack the department was telling the White House that al Qaeda-linked Ansar al-Sharia was claiming responsibility for it...

“...“After the attacks, the Administration perpetuated a deliberately misleading and incomplete narrative that the violence grew out of a demonstration caused by a YouTube video,” says the report. “The Administration consciously decided not to discuss extremist involvement or previous attacks against Western interests in Benghazi.”

...And contrary to claims by some members of Congress, it was fueled in large part by anger at an American-made video denigrating Islam...

sounds like a contradiction to me.

“NYTs Investigates.” = COVERUP!

Whenever Benedict Arlen Sphincter “investigated” something, you KNEW it was a whitewash, a coverup, a propaganda hit piece.

Example? The freakin PRISTINE BULLET. Carcano 6.5, supposedly penetrated Kennedy and Connelly. Went through head, shoulders, arms and wrists. Ended up on the damn gurney in PRISTINE condition, with the bullet in tact, and all rifling identifiable.

SO SAID ARLEN SPHINCTER.

In the same exact vain, NYT is covering up for this lawless bunch in DC.

Still waiting for the “iconic” photo of Hussein in the situation room on the night of the Benghazi attack.

Months of investigation by The New York Times, centered on extensive interviews with Libyans in Benghazi

I feel better now knowing that the crack crew of the NYT or should I say the crew on crack of the NYT has investigated this and we all should now believe thier findings

This is a big deal and deserves more fight from us than just echo chamber grumbling on this thread.

This is our entire problem in this country.

The NYT piece is well written and illustrated with bold photography, video, and maps. There are chapters where the article appears to deal with various "rumors" to do with Benghazi.

THIS IS THE PIECE THAT CEMENTS THE "TRUTH" ABOUT BENGHAZI INTO AMERICAN HISTORY. If we don't fight it right now, it will be the truth.

Phrases like "the Times researched for many months" or "the truth was more complicated than that" solve curiosity in most Americans' minds.

The only way to fight anything in this article is to step up factual refutations with footnotes (which this article does not have) and point by point disprove these allegations. And not on Rush Limbaugh's show or Sean Hannity's. The fight has to be LOUD AND BIG and dwarf the fight over Phil Robertson's freedom of speech.

The rest of this thread should hopefully focus on nuts and bolts directions on how to fight this, or else we deserve President Hillary Clinton.

Care now, or don't care at all.

FIVE SECOND BENGHAZI QUIZ

(Q.) Who holds the key to unlocking the Benghazi secrets Obama and Hillary will not divulge?

(A.) That would be Egyptian Gen Al-Sisi who drove blood-thirsty Muslims out of Egyptian politics and has vowed to rebuild the 63 churches torched by the Muslim Brotherhood.

Right now, sitting in an Egyptian jail is a man al-Sisi arrested for inciting terrorism. That man is Gehad al Hadad....once employed by the tax-exempt Clinton Foundation.

THE CLINTONS IN-HOUSE MUSLIM TERRORIST the Clintons tax-exempt foundation employed a Muslim Brotherhood activist.

Gehad el-Haddad
(The stupid Clintons did not know Gehad was Farsi for "jihad")

Gehad also knows how the Muslim Brotherhood launders money to finance terrorism, using "tax-exempt foundations."

As far as I know, Egypt does not have any limitations on obtaining information from terrorists---like prohibiting waterboarding, etc.

Rest assured---we will know everything---all in good time.

Months of investigation by The New York Times, centered on extensive interviews with Libyans in Benghazi who had direct knowledge of the attack there and its context, turned up no evidence that Al Qaeda or other international terrorist groups had any role in the assault.

So, the NYTs is contradicting even the 0bama administration and numerous elements of our government who produced evidence that it was committed by a branch of Al Qaeda? My BS meter is pegged.

Any “extensive interviews” with the man that is STILL locked up for making a video? How about the 40 or so survivors?

Anyone? Anyone? Anyone?

Anyone else find it ironic that the New York Times is blaming Free Speech/Free Expression as what went wrong in Benghazi?

Only Barack Hussein obama could have given the stand down order.
Hillary Clinton had the security detail replaced with local people who guess what were terrorists. She employs the daughter of a man who is a member of the muslim brotherhood terrorist organization in Egypt.

The NY Times has not question either of these people and I bet have no plans on doing so. They stood by as Americans were murdered and the NY Times are complacent in the coverup.

“Suliman Ali Zway and Osama Alfitori contributed reporting from Benghazi”

http://www.journalism.co.uk/news-features/-wherever-there-was-news-we-went—libya-s-a-team-fixers-on-getting-the-story-out/s5/a546770/

17 November, 2011

Zway and Alfitory were construction workers who quit comfortable jobs to volunteer for the Western journalists that flooded into Benghazi when the February protests turned to armed rebellion.

How it began

“It all came by chance at the beginning,” Zway tells me during a trip to London to collect his award.

“The protests were over and the fighting was just beginning. Only a few were fighting and had gone to the frontline. A lot of journalists came in and wanted to get an idea of what was happening.”

“No one really knows anything about Libya,” Alfitory says, “but suddenly all these journalists came to Benghazi to find out what was going on”.

“In the beginning I had decided to fight with the rebels, as it was our duty to protect our city. But just for a moment, until in my mind I realised that to help the journalists would be a much better cause. Back in February there were a lot of people starting to fight but not many helping journalists.”

(Snip)

Zway and Alfitory are now in London to attend the Rory Peck Awards ceremony, and will stay for two weeks to “unwind after eight months of conflict”.

Their trip was part-funded by Jon Lee Anderson and organised by a group of journalists who worked with them, including Fadel.
