I actually agree with most of the stuff in the first two paragraphs. However, I don't think that Obama is philosophically capable of even trying to apply the brakes from the caboose, no matter how much of his train is going off the end of the bridge. (More likely that he turns off his TV and retreats to a White House cave to live in.) I can't see how the Obama train ends up as anything but a pile of smoking, burning, bent metal. As for Moore's "single payer" solution, the Germans and Brits don't have single payer, and we won't put up with it, either.

Michael might want to put his money where his mouth is and personally help his friend with recurring cancer who is living with her daughter and only paying a $456/month Obamacare premium to come up with that ginormous deductible she (who has little money) is going to have to come up with before the eeeevil insurance companies cough up a penny. Of course, his friend may find her oncologist, etc. aren’t in the narrow network to keep those premiums (minus a huge subsidy) down to that “affordable” $456. Lots of cancer patients HAD insurance THEY were paying for and happy with because it was paying their expenses & they liked their docs ... until 12/31/2013 when OBAMCARE, not the eeeevil insurance companies, caused their polices to be ILLEGAL.

Little tidbit .... I saw an article by somebody reputable (not a “reporter/journalist”) who said that buying up in plans from say a bronze to a silver or gold, does NOT increase the doctor choice in the networks. The networks are the same in an area for bronze, silver or gold plans. I haven’t heard that talked about very much .... lots of folks are going to be VERY unhappy.

Michael Moore dislikes Obamacare because it is not radical enough and it still involves PRIVATE INSURANCE COMPANIES.

What he really wants is single payer system ( and that’s what he advocates if you read on ).

I wish only Leftists/Liberals/Progressives/Socialists/Communists would have to suffer with the lowered quality of our health care when it becomes single-payer. You don't really think the Elitist Leftists will be going to their local clinic for evaluation for a referral to a specialist, do you? Noooooo. They will have the Cadillac care and the rest of us will be beholden to our assigned physician or physician's assistant for an initial diagnosis and then wait months (if ever)to see an orthopod for our aged knees/hips. Two millions checked it out and they had to change their pants. Almost all of them experienced higher cost and a huge deductible that will mean that they have no insurance. So pay out of your pocket, idiots, if you pay your way into this communists empire.

What does a CEO’s salary have to do with the price of health care? If we averaged out his salary across everyone who has health insurance, I guess that would mean we get a one-dollar rebate every year. Big deal.
