This country is ready for the ash heap. To think that most of my adulthood I would have been willing to give my life for my country. No way in hell would I do that now. Not for this deviant, putrifying nation.
Its actually better than it has been. Drug use and alcoholism are way down from their peaks. We have other problems but this one is getting better.
The other matters, such as collapsed morals, failing marriages, bastard children, overwhelming bureaucracy and fascist corporatism are much worse than drugs have ever been.
