White House officials acknowledge there’s much to do on the heels of the president’s two-week vacation in Hawaii.
......To bolster the chances for Democratic Senate candidates and Obama’s agenda, White House aides are looking to tap into the themes of fairness and equality—which they believe helped Obama win the presidency twice.
Part and parcel of that effort is the immediate push on extending unemployment benefits, an efffot that started before Obama flew to Honolulu. Obama is expected to hold an event to push the issue early this week.
In the same vein, they plan to aggressively push to hike the minimum wage to $10.10, backing a recent proposal by Congressional Democrats.
Both issues are intended to telegraph a message about the inequality gap in the country, underlining differences with Republicans that the White House and Democrats think can be exploited in an election year.

He could continue pretending all he wants. Fact is, obamacare is going to turn the country totally against him.
Among his many sins, Obama cancelled my health insurance to award his Democrat voters. There is nothing he can do in this lifetime that will make me forgive him for that. Nothing. And anyone who supports him in any form or fashion, I will consider as an enemy to the well being of me or my family.

I figured we would see “Obama’s Pivot to the Economy, v. 5.1” but apparently our Dear Leader has given up on doing anything to create real jobs (not that he knows how, but I thought he would pretend again). Instead, we’ll get the media claiming that the economy is fixed and those who are unemployed or out of the workforce are rare exceptions, while Obama stirs up class warfare as a campaign issue.

He’s destroying the economy - jobs aren’t coming back - it’s not getting better on purpose, so he champions upping entry level job minimum wages, extending unemployment benefits and ramps up class warfare.
