The REAL premise should IMO be not that liberals oppose white conservatives adopting black children, but that they oppose ANY AND ALL white people adopting black children, period.

Looking back at the headline, yes I get it, Romney isn't conservative so it's pointless, but in the larger scheme of things this is a problem affecting not only conservatives but all parents wanting to adopt, and especially the black kids who languish needlessly without families.

The National Association of Black Social Workers has opposed interracial adoption, since 1972. It's a sad thing.
