Conservatives are not exempt; they keep looking for someone to face all the dirty fighting and ugliness for them, but go figure, the smart ones they need know that they shouldn’t waste their time and energy doing all the fighting while the conservatives who should be serving as their foot soldiers are staying comfortable at home letting one person take all the hits.
Conservatives should be out fighting in the streets, but are instead looking for that one candidate who will make it all better for them, to enable them to look down on someone who does in fact fight dirty. It’s like looking down on a WWII general who gives the orders and wanting the generals to do all the fighting without soldiers to carry out the orders.
A good conservative candidate who will magically make all things better is dead. Reagan wouldn’t bother if he had to face the political climate today and I am certain that all the smart folks we do need are deciding to sit this out and let the whole thing collapse, taking care of themselves and their families.

You are correct. It is exactly what happened as California emptied out to Utah and other environs. A process often repeated. Liberals soil their own nest and can no longer live in it and move to a nice, clean conservative place and then demand that we allow them to soil it as well.
Recent article on DeB and his wife indicate that both worked for the Clintons. Also reveals that his wife was a lesbian when he met her but he persuaded her to bear his child. (Elle magazine, Jan. ‘14)

You used the word ‘was’ ( past tense ) to refer to his wife as a lesbian. Does that mean she is straight now?
If so, does anyone realize what this does to the idea that you are “born that way”?

There is really no reason why a Wall Street firm cannot operate remotely while using communications technology to coordinate teams.
As an example, take the Depository Trust Clearing Corp or DTCC ( where I used to work ), the foremost stock and bond and derivative clearing and settlement company in the USA.
They used to be headquartered at 55 Water St. Downtown Manhattan.
Now, most of their operations and IT is located in TAMPA ( yep, that’s FLORIDA ). They’ve also moved their HQ from Manhattan to Jersey City ( across the Hudson ).
I used to have weekly team meetings with my team via GOTOMEETING. An online meeting, desktop sharing, and video conferencing system. We could even share documents in real time.
Why did they move to Tampa?
ANSWER: COST.
If the DTCC can do it, what’s to stop the other firms from doing it?
This was news to me and somehow fits with the Hillary/Huma relationship. I don’t see how someone could be a lesbian and the not so I’m going with a Bill/Hillary concept. Political hookups. Very confusing.
The article refers to a piece she wrote called “I am a Lesbian”. I’m going to look for it.

Didn’t realize it was Heather Mac Donald until the end. Figures. I love how she demolishes libs in her understated style.
I found an interview in Essence magazine in which Chirlane de Blasio talks about her 1979 article: “I am a Lesbian.” She had “a preference for women early...before getting locked into a traditional marriage” (her words).

Sounds like a political arrangement to me based on the fact that both were working for the Clintons, she was gay and she fit the profile. And yes, she admits she is still attracted to women.
