When our bi-racial president blames every critical comment toward his policies on racism against his African half, what chance do white people have in avoiding being called racists.
It becomes reflexive for too many, especially underachieving African-Americans to blame every negative or uncomfortable interaction on their pigmentation.
Example: being stopped for speeding, is not because of speeding, but because of racist feelings by the highway patrol..
Maryland has a huge investment in Grievance Studies at its state universities. Yet with all the government jobs available there is a huge middle class of state and federal workers whose ancestors may have been slaves.
The latest focus is in the public schools where there is a ‘disparity’ in disciplinary action stats of students of various skin colors. Teachers are caught in a terrible bind - in order to make the numbers more representative of the student body. So, white kids get disciplined for minor offenses to boost the count, and black students are allowed too much disruptive behavior, in order to reduce their count.
That really helps morale in the entire student body!!!
