Translation: Will MSM be able to save Christie’s GOP nomination?
For those unfamiliar with this scandal...
The brouhaha involves orders given by top Christie aides to Christie appointees of the NY-NJ Port Authority, to close a couple of lanes on the Geoge Washington Bridge that would punish a Democratic mayor - Fort Lee’s Mark Sokolich - for not supporting his re-election. The result of the lane closing was massive traffic jams for Fort Lee and other small towns near the bridge resulting in commuters being stuck for hours.
The internal emails after investigations were made make it pretty clear that the closings were punitive.
Good screw him, he got reelected now he can go to hell.
Buh-bye crispy.
The Tea Party should jump on this as well.

Look what he did to the cause of not reelecting BO when, instead of shunning him during Sandy, he embraced him, literally, practically flipping the bird at the same time

I don’t often find anything in the news that I would call “delicious”, but this has put a big smile on my face. I never bought that he was a front runner or had a prayer as a presidential candidate anyway. Stick a fork in Christi, he’s done. Good riddance!
Christie is finished. Clinton and Obama have set a very low standard but people still expect that Republicans will behave as adults.
If this doesn’t end his political aspirations then something else is in play here.
Democrats, and eventually the MSM, are starting early to destroy Christie because he is believed to be the front runner for 2016.
The problem for Christie is that he’s alienated such a large part of what could have been his (conservative) base, that he shouldn’t expect much in the way of support or a defense from the democrat assault. And rightly so.
If he switches parties, all this will go away.
The only ones giving him 'Front-Runner Status' are the members of the Main Stream Media, perennial allies of the Democrat Party. These are the same people who gave front-runner status to John McCain in 2008 and Mitt Romney in 2012.
As for Christie, he only did what Democrats do on a daily basis. If Christie had a 'D' after his name instead, we wouldn't even be hearing about this. In the mean time, I am more interested in the abuse of power at the IRS towards Obama's political opponents than I am against the closing of a lane on a bridge by the New Jersey DOT. But since the IRS now has a 'D' attached to it, there will be no press conference today or any other day.

The guy could never have gotten the GOP nomination, but could have really messed up the primaries, allowing the media to exploit and exagerate ideological divisions in the GOP coalition and leaving the eventual nominee weak and bloodied.
Now it’s possible to refocus opposition to him away from ideological differences to him being a petty, vindictive a&&hole who lacks the temperment for the office.
An added bonus is that the Dems and Lib media are the ones carrying the water on this right now.
did the Big fella investigate the allegations when they were raised last year? where else in NJ has this game been played? These are some obvious questions he should be answering......
