Yeah but you may not have a choice. If a drunk illegal with no insurance hits you, you are going to have a hospital bill.
Life is risk. When it comes to driving, I’m a HUGE defensive driver. I’m expecting this sort of thing all the time, and I commute 122 miles a day and have driven most states in this country. Multiple times.
Funny you bring up the illegal. I hit one trying to run across the street once. Tried to sue me twice but never got past the first threatening letter, as my insurance company in so many words replied back with, “bring it on”.
