I understand your point, but if China is cut off, the west will be back in the stone age. Just do a study of what American branded products that you buy are NOT made in China.
The next time you shop in WallyWorld, look at the packages and see where they came from. For example, Black and Decker, made in China. Look at where Levi jeans are made.
We should not be dependent on Communist China for anything. We can make all that in the USA.
