I just want to tell you that you live in a wonderful place. After my husband died my sister and daughter and I flew to San Francisco and stayed there for 5 days and then we rented a convertible mustang and drove down highway one stopping at Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel, Big Sur, Hearst Castle,and ended in LA. Every place was so wonderful. The wine country the lighthouses on the coast,Malibu, Hollywood. We went to the Hollywood Bowl. Just great. If I could live in California I would never leave because I would take all of my vacations there. I also think that by the end of the hockey season the Stanley Cup will be in California too! Please be safe. It's heartbreaking to think that one inch of that wonderful state has burned.

Yes it is. Other than politics it's really paradise...About 75 degrees today with a nice Pacific breeze....BTW I think that fire is all but out...
