Waiting for all the usual jackboot lickers to defend the action by the “officer.”
If Kelly Thomas is any indication, this murdering pig will walk as well.

As our nation turns into a third world nation our cops become death squads.

Waiting for all the usual jackboot lickers to defend the action by the officer. The only concrete fact...or *potential* fact...I see in this article (I didn't click on the link) is that the victim *may* have been a schizophrenic. If,by chance,he was I can say this:
In 20+ years working in a major hospital's ER I encountered many,many,many,*many* schizophrenics,male and female.And I can guarantee you that the males were,at times,capable of some very,very disturbing,violent acts.I won't elaborate...too many stories to tell.
That's all I'm sayin'

If the cops from the other department are smart, they’ll tell the truth.

I know from personal experience that if you want to make a bad situation like this worse, call the police.

I can guarantee you that the males were,at times, capable of some very, very disturbing, violent acts. If the officer cannot deal with such individual, he should (a) leave the room, (b) lock the door, and (c) summon a doctor who can administer a proper drug.
It's possible that the individual will hurt himself while not controlled; but that's still better than being dead.
By looking at many cases of police misdeeds, it appears that they are not taught to retreat. They always barge ahead, they always fight to the last drop of blood of their victims; they always must be in control and on top, no matter what. That police captain in the theater simply could not tolerate the thought that some "civilian" is refusing to obey his orders! So he shot him for that.

I hope they learned a lesson. The lesson? Never, never, never involve the cops in anything. No matter how bag=d it is initially, involving the police makes it exponentially worse.

In my 64 years, I’ve never run into a bad cop. I know they’re out there, from reading too many other stories like this, but I have no firsthand experience with any of them. That said, if what the shooter-cop said was true, he ought to be in detention for what he did. He’s a clear and present danger to the public. RIP, young man.

Correct. This goes for divorce, etc. as well. If you can’t run your own life, don’t expect those people to make it any better for you.

Do an internet search, as there are multiple versions of this story floating around. The initial report was that the stepfather said that the officer came in and said "we don't have time for this.....taze him." and that the 18 year old started resisting at that point. The two officers that were "holding the boy down" have already been cleared and issued statements saying that have no doubt that upon a full review that the shooting will be justified.
Just be careful of how this is being spun. There are definitely at least two sides to this story.

Another example of the threat posed by government to individual freedom.
