No, but it's arrogance in believing she has no chance. It's arrogance in thinking that Texas is so solidly crimson-red that they'd never elect someone like Wendy Davis as Governor.

Perry beat his opponent by 12% in 2010, a landslide year for the GOP. The numbers are definitely shifting in the Democrats' favor.

Don’t credit the Dems with Perry’s slim margin in 2010.

He lost his base here in Texas long ago but has stayed in office because there is no viable opposition.

A lot of us voted third party or just didn’t vote in the gubernatorial race, because Perry has backstabbed us too many times during his too many years in office.

Dems had nothing to do with it. Their candidate, a washed-up bald former Houston mayor, was pitiful. They weren’t even trying. And Rick is a good politician.

I do see Davis as a threat, but the details in the DMN article could sink her ship. Gotta get it out there.
