May I suggest an alternative view:
In the beginning of his failed first term, his popularity was soaring and that from people of all colors since only a few knew him to be the Marxist he has turned out to be. I suggest that those people and the true racists that hate blacks or other nonwhites, were those who answered consistently No in every survey, every time and their number stayed relatively constant. As time progressed and more and more people got over their initial starry-eyed assessment of the POTUS and begin to listen to his rhetoric and found his words lies and doublespeak as well as his penchant to campaign incessantly and not lead, their opinion changed. Now since we have a relative constant number of racists and anti-Marxists already know to be a portion of the negative number, the logical conclusion is that the decreasing popularity numbers are not driven by racist and anti-Marxist base rising but rather the previously positive responders having their opinion changed by this would be boy king, his actions, his comrades and his insistence on destroying this nation day by day. That and the fact he is delusional and narcissistic. Wait till he founds out his fecal matter does stink and it costs the Democrats the Senate in 2014 and the Presidency in 2016.
