The US Army is considering replacing thousands of soldiers with robots as it deals with sweeping troop cuts. A senior American officer has said he is considering shrinking the size of the Army’s brigade combat teams by a quarter and replacing the lost troops with robots and remote-controlled vehicles. What a coincidence - the remake of Robocop comes out in a couple of weeks.

So the ROK (”South Korean”) Army, 506,000 strong, will be larger than the American Army? Does that sound right to you? South Korea doesn’t have world-wide commitments, the last time I checked.

Robots don’t go home after the war and stage a real life re-enactment of the Battle of Athens.....
Which is a another bonus for the establishment for doing so...
That being said anything to prevent troop deaths is a good thing.
However, I fear a day where we get EVEN MORE involved in foreign entanlgements because we could use the excuse “we are only sending robots”....
