Dear Jamie: The president did not turn from white to black in 2013, therefore that is not why his approval rating dropped. His approval rating dropped because of his policies - a sluggish economy with unemployment still at well-above-average levels, massive NSA snooping on virtually every citizen, IRS targeting of political opponents, bungling and lying related to Benghazi, and - above all - the disastrous, incompetent rollout of the ACA.
