President Barack Obama coming to Nashville Updated: Jan 25, 2014 Posted by Kayla Moore
NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
President Barack Obama is coming to Nashville on Thursday to talk about jobs.
One of Obama's advisors says they hope to work together with the public on this tour to find work and economic security for job seekers.
Music City is just one stop on the president's tour across the country that will begin after his State of the Union address on Tuesday.

I wonder if he will have some good ole bands from Nashville again?
Nashville Musicians Rock For Obama

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- People in Iowa aren’t the only ones who love Barack Obama. In Nashville a group of Obama supporters put together a concert to rally voters for support.
In Music City, the group “Nashville loves Barack Obama”, had a concert to build support for the Presidential candidate.
About 100 people showed up to Sunday night’s event at the Exit/In. The group also registered new voters before the January 7th deadline to vote in the primary and gave out campaign paraphernalia.

No, he is auditioning for the Grand Ole Opry. I don't think he will do well, as he can't do anything right.
Good point. I don’t think the president ever publicly expressed anything about the terrible Nashville flooding. It’s as if it didn’t happen. The MSM barely covered the flooding either.
Where was he during the floods
Please stop calling him “president”, it makes my skin crawl. Call him the illegal dictator.

Woo hoo!! And the first 27% is in!! Thank you all very much!! |
Fortunately, I have no plans on being in Nashville on Thursday.
I'm not a country music guy, so I don't really know anything about either band. But I was pleased to see this comment from Lady Antebellum's publicist. I think it's very smart for celebrities to keep their political views to themselves, lest they pi** of a lot of potential fans.
Unless, of course, political commentary is their thing. In which case, we need a lot more bands and musicians to speak their minds through their music!

Excellent reply.
A prayer I never thought I'd pray: Lord, preserve the life of Barack Hussein Obama, or whatever his name is.
I want him to be alive for his trial.
baraq is getting out of dc to speak to more college kids and play golf. Bet his stops are where the weather is warmer than dc. The speeches are his excuse for the trip.
