Right. That “waiting on Congress” routine must get really tiresome. No support for badly needed Marxist initiatives coming out that organization. The good news is that, with the help of the Chief Justice, the shredding of the Constitution is progressing nicely. Who needs Congress anyway?

For a preview of the SOTU I suggest doing a Wikipedia search on “Income Inequality”. That way you skip the speech entirely, a step that will definitely increase your lifespan.

“Income Inequality” is all about giving the Democrats a narrative to portray Republicans as “the bad guys”, and to empower Democrats to be the arbiter of who should be paid more than they’re worth and who should be paid less than they’re worth.

Republicans would be wise to take the issue away from Democrats by reframing it as promoting a system of fair giving and fair taking.

A hamburger flipper gives a service that anyone can perform. A brain surgeon gives a service that requires great knowledge, skill, and discipline. Each deserves respect as each is performing a needed service for society. Yet a hamburger flipper gives much less than a brain surgeon, therefore a hamburger flipper can not take as much as a brain surgeon.

The same could be said for a concrete laborer and a crane operator, a framing carpenter and a fine furniture maker, or a cashier and an accountant, and so forth.

Free enterprise is the only system yet devised that promotes, on average, fair giving and fair taking. It is the most just system known.

Free exchange in a free and fair market is what Republicans should promote, not a rigged market with Democrats choosing the winners and losers.
