Okay, back from church....on SUNDAY!

Lots of people know what happened last week and lots of hugs and congrats....people just do not want more laws over laws.

Also, maybe more on this later, the state of Delaware is, I am not making this up, passing a law AGAINST ME!

It’s about the property. Spoke to my rep and senator....state guys.....”everybody loves Pat” they both told me.

Well.....no....they don’t. Lots of people like me but because I AM ON THEIR SIDE. Around these parts it’s bad form to go against me and that’s just the way I want it.

Am going to Dover next week, meeting Smyk and Pettyjohn (BRIAN Pettyjohn is my state senator, Dean PETTYJOHN is the unelected bureaucrat that found my fence guilty)....heh.

Got some real scoop from these guys....everyone in Sussex county’s name is Pettyjohn....or Prettyman....got roads with those names all over the place.

Anyway, also got a candidate of my own going up against Deaver, the only Democrat on the Sussex council and unfortunately MY council representative.

She’s on my list.

Pettyjohn calls me up last week....I pick up the phone “Hi Neighbor!” Senator Pettyjohn shouts over the phone. Turns out he lives right around the corner from me, how cool is that?

Also met Smyk at his monthly breakfast thing....he wants me on his side.

Know this....ALL OF US could do what I am doing. With but a flip of the tongue all of can be a Self-Appointed Citizen Omsbudsman and go right around the Republican party. Instead of marching on Washington by the millions, let every one of us show up at our local city, county, town councils and just sit there. Believe me they sit up when they look out and see a bunch of people there.

Just one citizen already changed three laws......just think what the Republicans could do if they tried.

I’m watching the talks shows DVR now. Who came on from the pubs defending the Tea Party? I been looking forward to this all week.

Problem is the current leadership just accepts what the media says and the coverup that ensues.

I think the GOP panic over immigration is a few things:

1)Chamber of Amnesty/ K Street wants open borders
2)Fear of MSM
3)Conservative for pay consultant class pushing this
4)Clear demographic trends causing panic in the GOP

None of those GOP careerists pushing amnesty have an ounce of conservative values in them. Politics is their career. No Patriot would suggest such a deal in bad economic times AND with such an untrustworthy, back stabbing partner like Barack Obama.

Your tagline says it all.

The GOP does not stand up for their own, no, they pile on too.

That is why someone like Cruz, who isn’t afraid to speak his mind and won’t be bullied, scares them to pieces.

Alan West and Dr. Carson are both Super in my book! I’ve been very impressed with Mia Love and Sen. Scott as well.
Deneen Borelli is a well-spoken black conservative woman that I see on Hannity from time to time.

In case you haven’t seen it, there’s a great graphic (post #11) on this thread on Black Conservatives.

Turned on FTN just to watch Cruz - - I think he did his usual great job. Had to turn back to FNS as Uncle upChuck was coming on FTN and he makes my skin crawl - - cannot stand listening to his ever-spouting of lies. Bless you for listening to him - - hope your ears heal soon

Maybe I didn’t make it clear....this ordinance is down, dead, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, may it rest in peace.

For three of the council people did vote NO against the one law-crazy Democrat and one horrible Republican.

I been spending the last three days begging the Sussex GOP to do something about this guy but they whine....”he’s retiring next year, best to let him go in peace,”....they just don’t realize how important this is to us.

We got Pelosi in our face telling us they have to pass the law THEN read it and now they’re passing laws over laws over laws and WE, the peons who have to live under their endless laws, are not happy.

I shall, as a SACO, stay on the job. Tomorrow I will call George Cole myself and ask him why he felt the need to vote for a law that already existed.

If he doesn’t answer me or call back, then I write the column. See? WE ARE NOT HELPLESS!

Just get up and GO AROUND THEM!

Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, is guiding me in the plan His Father has for me.

On that I rest my case.

So how about John Boehner, last week, on the TV, interviewed by Jay Leno....big nationwide audience....lo-fo voters even....

....they show clips of Democrats saying that Obamacare is the law of the land and Jay turns to Boehner and asks what he thinks.

Does Boehner say “Jay, prohibition was once the law of the land, It was once illegal for a black man to marry a white woman. I know the Democrats are trying to make opposition to Obamacare, which is really performing poorly, sound like it’s against our constitution. Our constitution states very plainly a procedure to change laws as has been done very often in this country’s history”.

Instead he nods his head affirmative, somberly, and says “It’s the law of the land”.

LO_FO voters across the fruited plains went to bed thinking how great it was that the Republicans accept their due as Obamacare is the law of the land and even as they hate it, the political class, Dem and Republican, has spoken.

It’s the Law of the Land.

Think about it.

How about Paul/Cruz? Two reasons I would like to see Cruz as VP would be 1) to settle the natural born citizenship issue by making it nonissue, and 2) seeing Cruz as President of the Senate! Would love to see those ole Dems quake in their boots!

Thanks for the thread, I had not seen it.

Mia Love is my younger sis’s Mayor. She is terrific and plans on running for congress again. She will win.

I’ll have to ck out Deneen Borelli. Have not heard of her.

By the way, my rule on my column is....well I NEVER READ THE COMMENTS.

I do this specifically because man, Delaware is freaking brutal...they got people they pay to be mean. Think of Christine O’Donnell.

So when you tell me of comments, I know not and would prefer not to know. It’s a form of intimidation as I see it. My posts gets plenty of hits and comments, they called me early this year to make sure I would still write.

Delawarepolitics.net was started by a former head of the Sussex county GOP and is currently edited by a very Conservative black man who I think the world of, he is a Dover county councilman and is currently serving in Afghanistan.

And he NEVER edits me. Only once did he have to call me, heh, when I said something about a local yokel politico getting charged with beating his wife and the guy calls up David all in twit. The charge was, get this, “Excessive pushing” or some such.

David told me if I didn’t take it down he’d have to edit me and you know I don’t like editing.

I just took the whole post down and left a message that Joe Blow objected to my words.

Anyway...SACO.

It’s time to stop debating the lies and DO SOMETHING!

Which is what I do.

And you and I (and all the rest here) know that before the ink is dry on the bill, Gutierrez, Chuckie, the Dim hispanic rep from TX (can’t think of his name right now Carlos?? - his brother is mayor of the town they’re from), La Raz, etc. are going to go screaming to the nearest mic saying that it’s not fair that the hispanics are paying taxes but can’t vote, etc. - - they need to be able to vote, get subsidized Obaamacare or Medicaid, full welfare benefits, bring their extended family in, etc., etc. I remember reading something in the last few months that some wanted to give illegals (or maybe it was legal aliens or both) voting rights in some city - - probably CA.

Very few congress critters and talking heads are making the point that if we have high unemployment in the country now (especially among minorities), why would we even consider bringing in millions of low-wage workers. I think Sen Jeff Sessions (I think he’s great) mentioned something like this, but he’s one of the very few.

The GOP plan is to do nothing in opposition to the ACA because their big donors are secretly very happy with obamacare. They want health care off their books. Obamacare does that in the long run. All the GOP has to do is nothing for a few years while millions get dumped off employer provided health care and into the exchanges.

The path to socialized medicine will never be reversible once tens of millions are in the exchanges. Everybody inside the beltway knows that and they are colluding to get us there.

Funny you should ask this question 'cause I just saw this on TV this morning!

As for Boner on Leno, he was definitely bombed. If he wasn’t, he needs a speech coach to help him to not slur his words.

I agree, there was so much he could have said but would have had to think too hard. Noticed every hair was in place.

“Somebody’s panicking. - A whole lot of ‘em....”

The Left wing dummys at the bottom of the food chain are seeing their cost of living going up. The young are seeing their cost of living going up - and they cannot get employment.

SOME limited G’mnt politicians - Especially Ted “the King” Cruz are punching back. This morning he was AGAIN giving it to another old commy rat - Obama and the Dems shut down the G’ment.

And Ted “the King” Cruz was very pleasant when he threw the hay-maker back at the old commy fart.

Lodi,

YOU ARE EXACTLY RIGHT!

Because Boehner had a wonderful opportunity to push the Republican message on the Leno show. Surely they are not that stupid? Look at me, in a casual comment I quickly typed up the right thing to say should one feel that Obamacare is not the way to go.

The political class has spoken.

I’m not going to take this sitting down. Maybe we’re not in the majority. I will always respect the will of the majority. But we are darn sure a very large percentage of the American electorate and we have as much right to present our concerns as say, the homos....what? Maybe 3% of the population.

But we have nobody to speak for us. This past week THREE elected officials came out and spoke in the most horrible of tones to us....a vast percentage of the American electorate. I scratch my head and ponder and think...who the hell do they think they are?

We do not kill people, most times we stop at the stop signs....WE CARRY THIS COUNTRY ON OUR BACKS!

If we ever get our act together we’ll be an unbreakable force. It’s why they’re so scared of us.

I sure do not have the answers but I got tired of sitting on my hands and it is, isn’t it?, obvious that the Republican party doesn’t want us, we are a burden.

Like my Sussex chair told me, after assuring me of his love, that he agreed with me “99.5%” of the time, but he didn’t approve of my “tactics”.

I say it’s time for tactics.....nothing else is working.

And I’m not going down without a fight.

Paul/Cruz works for me, too!

Either way, with Palin as Secretary of the EPA and Energy and possibly the Interior, too - couldn’t we combine all 3 depts and basically let the EPA go by the wayside for the most part?

Dr. Ben Carson as Secretary of Health

Col West as Secretary of Defense

Donald Trump or 1 of the Koch brothers as Secretary of the Treasury or Commerce or Housing or head of
Fannie/Freddie ;-)

You’re very welcome!

I was so disappointed that Mia didn’t win last time, but think she’s got a great chance this year. Your sister will be losing a super Mayor, but we’ll be gaining a great advocate in the US House.
