Immigration reform battle centers on conservative Tea Party bloc (GOP Amnesty Retreat starts Wed!)

The immigration reform debate in the House could boil down to a handful of influential Tea Party conservatives.

Proponents and opponents of creating a pathway to citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants and other reforms have zeroed in on “peer leaders” in the House GOP. These conservatives include Reps. Jason Chaffetz (Utah), Trey Gowdy (S.C.), Justin Amash (Mich.), Renee Ellmers (N.C.) and Steve Scalise (La.).

While there are vocal factions on either side of the debate, the battle for immigration reform will be fought over a bloc of lawmakers who have stayed relatively quiet on the issue. Many of them will take their lead from conservative colleagues they respect more than House GOP leaders or big business groups.

Both sides are battling for 117 Republican votes because Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) has said he will only move legislation that has the support of a majority of the 233-member GOP conference.

Write your Senators and your House Representative, no matter what political party they belong to, to say you are against amnesty and for strong border enforcement, including deportations. There ar easy email pages for the Senate & House. Tell them, even if they don’t listen.

All of those mentioned are for amnesty except maybe Gowdy who may have flipped back after attacking Steve King.

Ellmers is an idiot. No one listens to her. Chaffetz is for amnesty and mass immigration.

Mulvaney is against it from what he said to Ingraham. He just said he wants to show the public what they would do to secure the border. There is others in the SC delegation that are way more conservative on the issue.

I wouldn’t be certain of Shelley Capito or Wolf voting for amnesty.

Some of the older establishment Republicans are not always for amnesty.

A lot of idiot young guns and women elected in 2010 and 2012 will vote for amnesty.

Dennis Hastert killed Ted Kennedy’s amnesty plans.

How about this for a little imagination:

What if all the ID being stolen .. is on purpose ..??

What if the stolen ID is being done in order that the “new” immigrants can be given valid papers .. ALLOWING THEM TO VOTE IN 2014 ..??????????? Didn’t Obama just tell the dems that Boehner would delivery Amnesty in 2014 ..??

Remember what the 9/11 Commission said: “... a lack of imagination” was what caused 9/11.

The GOP elites have taken the bait .. and the dems will reward them in 2014, when most all of them will be out of a job .. because once again the dems will STEAL away the House (using their illegal, falsely ID’d voters) .. and we will have to watch while the dems spend the country into destruction.

What are the chances we are about to be fooled once again ..????
