The CBC is being racist themselves, with a statement such as this: “Leaders of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) plan to publicly rebuke President Obama over a lack of diversity in his federal judicial picks. “
They’re insisting that, affirmative action needs to be invoked to promote people to important positions, such as judges. Affirmative action is itself, racist, since it looks to promote people via the color of a person’s skin, while a much more qualified person might have to be skipped.
Affirmative action is a way of admitting that, those promoted aren’t capable of making it on their own, which says that, they’re less capable than the whites or Asians or Indians who otherwise were either better educated or smarter or both. That should be an insult to those getting “promoted” or assigned to their positions.
Affirmative action might have been a bit needed to correct some of the injustices of the past, but, by now, there is no longer a need for it. Now, it’s just reverse discrimination, and racist.
Jeeze, based on what I see from TV and movies all the judges are minorities or even better Black women! The last time I saw a white judge in a movie was a remake of Miracle on 34th St.
