"“Historically speaking, 90-percent or more of those required to comply with gun registration laws in the U.S. refuse to do so, "

Yeah, so. Bammy refuses to comply with the US Constitution 100% of the time. (Go and get him first.)

Revolutions begin with non-compliance. This is a government that has lost faith with its citizens. It has exempted itself from the laws in enforces on others. It has ignored the public sentiment in passing legislation no one wants, no one needs, and that benefits no one except the wielders of power. It is a small wonder that The People don't consider themselves bound by such a lopsided social contract.

Remember that governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. No consent, no powers.

I’m glad Kookneticut did this.

It provides an example for all Americans.

We aren’t stupid Brits or Aussies.

We don’t have the bad teeth or the bad breath respectively.

Heard a rumor from a friend of mine who would know that the Connecticut State Police hired 60 "Inspectors" to start combing through paperwork (the copy of the long gun paperwork that goes to the local police chief apparently) looking for people who didn't register.

60? Hilarious. Won't even make a dent.

Of all of my gun-owning friends I only know 1 who registered his magazines. And even he didn't register his so-called assault weapon.

Let’s see what is in the old cliche drawer...

Here’s one.

My AR15 has killed fewer people than Ted Kennedy’s Oldsmobile.

Tell ‘em to pound sand.

So that picture showing a line of people waiting to register was just leftist propaganda then?

I really can feel for all those who did not register. I’m sure it is weighing on the to some degree. They were put in a really bad spot. I hope they vote their conscience and recruit others.

Have Connecticut’s gun owners nullified the “draconian law?”

Why bother with amnesty? The law itself is invalid because it is unconstitutional. Laws without legitimacy do not require amnesty; that’s what jury nullification is for.

Compliance with Tyranny is Treason.

Now we know who the true Patriots are, and they aren’t lining up to be “Registered” like the Jews in 1936 Berlin.
