Obamacrat McCain is demonstrating that he has lost his sense of Honor.

Maricopa County Republicans have but one choice: begin a 2014 State-Wide Recall Petition for John “Wacko Bird” McCain.

and BTW saying you have a “strong conservative voting record “ isn’t the same as actually having an even vaguely GOP voting record Mr. “Maverick”

Spiteful

McCain has been fueled by spite his whole career. Everything he's done has been motivated by spite against someone.

He could always pull an Arlen Specter and switch parties. That worked out so well for snarlin' Arlen.

The guy could have retired gracefully and went down in history as the longest serving U.S. Senator in Pennsylvania history. Instead, he clung to power until the bitter end and was dead within a year of his career ending defeat in the primary.

Ok, I don’t think you can bully McCain.

This is a guy who had a chance to leave a Vietnamese prison early and chose to stay until his fellow prisoners got out.

I don’t like McCain but I hope he bows out gracefully before he is crushed in a primary.

If he had gotten out early, his Navy career and political prospects would have been finished in the ensuing propaganda barrage from the North Vietnamese about America's privileged classes.

Never explain yourself. Your friends don’t need it and your enemies won’t believe it.

“What would we have to say to get him to do conservative stuff? “

You probably would have to ask him to run again because he is needed in the GOP. That is about the only way he will leave.

And yes I am serious about that. I am the same way. Anyone who tries to bully me out only makes me more determined and obstinate. The way to get me out is gentle persuasion.

That makes him a good fellow POW... but not necessarily a good Senator (or pro baseball player, or good singer, or anything else).

"No one forced him to ally with Russ Feingold to squelch our First Amendment right to (political) free speech."

Of all the things to criticize McCain for, this is the weakest.

You can thank the Supreme Court for overturning McCain-Feingold as you welcome your 11 million new neighbors from Mexico and the 1 million new H1B visa holders from India thanks to all of the filthy lucre ... er ... first amendment initiatives ... utilized by corporate lobbyists to get your congresscritters in line behind amnesty.

So he wouldn’t be running for the good of the country, he’d be running because his knickers are in a twist.

Nice.
