They should make these in colors instead of black so cops would know they are not real handguns.
Here’s a radical notion: Let the market work it out. Those worried about being shot by cops could by unicorn-shaped pink squirt guns. Those who want a utilitarian tool and will be careful about how they handle it around idiot cops can buy something black and authentic looking.

We use to do the same thing but we made sure every body wore safety goggles.
A nice dime size bruise would sort out the guys who didn't yep.
I always wondered how may of the guys who Joined the military used the lessons they learned.
