It is easy to spout conspiracy theories and link to others thinking the same.
But the folks that actually buy the product directly for immediate delivery are paying the same prices, outside of other contracts negotiated for long term price and delivery security.
You also incidentally underscore a point Ive made elsewhere that there aren't isn't enough distributed refinery capacity in this country, the Keystone pipeline needs to be better thought out, and as its a matter of national security, this needs to be addressed immediately.

I am always capable of being wrong. I even achomplish it on an all to regular basis.
But this isn’t about me. It is about a massive global commodity that produces, moves and consumes ~90 million barrels of oil every single day. Physical product, not just paper exchanges.
