Ten minutes before superbowl kickoff we found smoke in a bathroom.
Off with the tv as I explained sweetly that we could not have cigarettes or lighters on the unit and the contraband would have to be handed over, no questions asked... or...
The TV would stay off, everone would line up so we could have them one by one change into scrubs while we searched their clothes then their rooms and then they would be sent to another area to sit and wait until they were all searched. Their choice.

The cigarettes and lighter were delivered to me within three minutes by a guy who, I think was worried that the rest of the guys would hurt him badly if he didn’t give it up.
The set went on, we popped bowls of popcorn and our side won.
