JUSTIN BIEBER CHARGED WITH ASSAULT IN CANADA
AP ^ | Jan 29, 2014 | BY ROB GILLIES

Posted on 01/29/2014 7:57:05 PM PST by Jet Jaguar

Justin Bieber was charged Wednesday with assault for allegedly hitting a Toronto limousine driver several times in the back of the head last month, just hours after his attorney entered a separate not guilty plea in Florida to drunken-driving and other charges.

Bieber turned himself in to a Toronto police station, arriving amid a crush of media and screaming fans. He was charged with one count of assault and is scheduled to appear in court in Toronto on March 10.

Police allege Bieber was one of six people who were picked up by a limousine from a nightclub in the early morning hours of Dec. 30, and there was an altercation while en route to a hotel.

Police said during the altercation one of the passengers hit the limo driver in the back of the head several times.

Hayley Mills, Nanette and Connie Stevens on this side.

Ah yes, Disney was alive then and insisted on standards.

Bieber definitely has talent. He's 19 years old now and is an adult and therefore should be responsible for his own behavior.

I prefer classical music, that's all. If Bieber is that talented he could play it. I'm sure he could.
I know that the wonderful voices of the world COULD sing opera, if they wanted to. After all the opera music is still around hundreds of years after it was written...BECAUSE it is so wonderful and thereby dubbed "classical." The proof is in how long the music hangs around to be sung, played and listened to.

It's the same with singers. If the voice is that good, it will hang around and be listened to. Unfortunately if singers want to be "immortal," they have to sing "immortal" music since it WILL be listened to 1000 years from now....it passed the test of time.

NO one sings the songs of the early 20 century any more, from ANY country, because they are not "classical," which means, STILL AROUND because they are so wonderful.

I'm just calling it like it is, with no deprecation meant for ANY talent.

Manitas de Plata (Little Silverhands) (born Ricardo Baliardo, August 7, 1921) is a French Gitano flamenco guitarist.

Nope, though he ought to be listed. I haven't EVER heard him. The gypsy guitarists were in fashion in the 60's I believe. Their style, the gypsy style, is wonderful, isn't it?

We don't get cloud berries here in California. Maybe they don't export easily. They are a colder weather berry. I had them when we visited our friends in Sweden.

We have WONDERFUL berries here in California: raspberries, blackberries.

Heck, with enough sugar and cream an old SHOE would taste good! :o)

Justine Bieber is almost 19 years old, born in March, 1994.
He's considered an adult in MOST countries. He COULD enlist in the military if he were American and fight for and defend his country.
He is CERTAINLY old enough to know right from wrong. He has free will too. Doesn't he?

I am impressed!

I didn't mean that literally. What I meant was that she was interested in the same gender as I. She's a lesbian now.

Yes.

That’s why he is going to be incarcerated.

I was commenting on how it was so crazy for his mother to take a talented kid at the age of 12, make a ton of money from his talent, take his childhood away, give him over to idiots with money and expect anything different.

I was saying that.

But I keep forgetting how this forum has been given over to hateful idiots of late, so I got caught up in this insane discussion.

So. Yes, give him the chair. He’s ad adult in many respects, and he has money which is a crime. It’s not that we don’t appreciate that some people have money and that maybe some of them are nice, it’s that we here on FR are very amenable to the attitude that rich people have stuff and they have no reason not to act prerfect, as we would if we had money, but we dont’ and we hate people who do, if you want to know, but we hide that because we know were not supposed to think it, but when some little kid comes along with mn=oney and steps out of line we will pile on

These types of situations rarely end well.

Shame on you, parents, who try for their kids to get famous.

“I was hoping Justin Bullshxt stories would be banned from FR with the exception of his obituary.”

Shame on you for wishing for the death of this young man!
What kind of people do we have on FR??

This young man had his childhood stolen from him by greedy, unscrupulous rappers and hangers-on, with only a naïve young mother standing by to try to give him guidance.

He was young and naïve. Suddenly he was the idol of millions of crazed young girls with millions of dollars pouring in. The crazed media followed him everywhere and reporting his every move, while many made fun of him and called him nasty names- out of pure jealousy of his popularity with young girls and his millions.
But he had the rappers and hangers-on to tell him how to act, how to ‘have fun’.

This boy does not deserve our hate and bad wishes.
He deserves our prayers that he will be granted guidance before it is too late.
He needs to be put into rehab and given intense counseling.

As a trained musician with a natural ear for music I have to tell you I can’t stand Opera and I don’t care much fot classical either. Sure they’ve been around a long time but that doesn’t mean it appeals to younger generations.... It doesn’t.
You’ll never hear Bieber trying to sing opera.... Thankfully

Right.

My point is I have to say it is so ugly for people to pile on this kid. He is extremely stunted in his emotional and intellectual growth. handicapped.

It’s just true. He needs help and he needs to lose his access to automobiles and certainly to mid altering substances.

Parenting is easy. Just pay attention to the kids. Stay and be married to a spouse, of the opposite sex, and definitely of the opposite sex, and if the mom has to work, get home and pay attention to the did.

His problems are not big for the parent, but huge for the kid, assist, and educate, that’s how it was designed, and then, when the kid is 19 he’ll be on his way to being a successful adult with a provider’s mindset, and then move on with empty nest-dom. But after they grow up.

Otherwise you get drama, jail, embarrassment and financial ruin.

Like this.

and it’s the parent’s fault, to a great degree, so, the piling on, just because he has money people are envious of, it’s ugly

I’m straight forward in what I say and I don’t feel the least bit “sorry” for this little POS.

If you’re offended by what I said I really don’t care and we have all kinds of people on FR and what they say is their opinion.

Opera will be around another thousand years and the music Bieber plays and sings won't. It will be gone in a decade AND forgotten.
Opera has been around so long for a reason. You don't know opera because no one taught you to appreciate it.

TRUE MUSICIANS appreciate ALL kinds of music. Saying you can't stand one kind shows that you have never bothered to appreciate music that's been around for hundreds of years. So, you really are NOT much of a musician.

Have you EVER thought why "CLASSICAL" music is called that? It's because it is SO good that people listen to it and play it STILL today...after HUNDREDS of years of being played and listened to.
Pop music ISN'T classical because it's never around beyond the latest fad and heart-throb.

But, that's okay. You choose your music, play it and enjoy it. That's what music is all about, isn't it?
