Very sad. He was a great actor. I read that he had even been in a heroin recovery program last year, but obviously even that wasn’t enough.

Last year I was driving down Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood, he was jogging of all things, down the sidewalk - he looked 70 years old - just awful. I loved him in The Talented Mr Ripley, The Master and Guilt with Meryl Streep and Amy Adams. - RIP

He was a superb actor.

Not too many people beat heroin. It is an evil drug.

22 people died of heroin overdoses in Pittsburgh last month.

The dealers are now cutting it with fentanyl.

Maybe Hoffman was sold some of this stuff.
