I would have appreciated something more subtle, yet still recognizable a logo, perhaps, not a gun, Nolan said.
How about printing out the word 'guns' in seven different languages?

No wonder are schools are not working with some one like this in charge.

Let’s get a group together and go chase these idiots around with stickers. They are afraid of a sticker. We are doomed!

Hey, Principal Nolan; how confident are you that your students can read a sticker with just words?
To: Libloather
Translation: Our students are too stupid to realize a big red X through the picture of a gun means ‘no’.

Is there a special obnoxiousness test you have to pass to become a school administrator?

Yeah, that’s what’s important, you idiots.
To: Libloather
state law passed last year requiring schools to post a "no gun" sticker featuring an Image of a handgun If these schools had taught their students to read, pictures wouldn't be needed.

I’m not comfortable with this either.
What if some student took the sticker off the wall and used the picture of the gun to threaten another child?

How about a picture of an L shaped pop tart?
Or a finger gun?
We are in deep trouble with school administators like this.

How about printing out the word 'guns' in seven different languages? Some enterprising left-wing trial lawyer could still be counted upon to sue the city for discriminating against the illiterate.
The fact is, it really doesn't matter any more what rules are imposed upon our failing urban public schools: a class of politically-protected professional thieves are running the show, and almost nothing they do has anything whatsoever to do with learning.

It is bothersome to have to post a sticker of a gun that says, Hey, folks, leave your guns at home.’
It is bothersome? Really? Fact is funnier and stranger than fiction. More proof that liberalism is a mental disease.

This is wonderful! Now, I know that none of you would want to sport a T-Shirt that says "No Guns", but now that we have a legal way to have an image of a gun in a Chicago school, let's put it to our use!
Presenting ... The No No-Guns shirt!

Oh BTW schools had guns here by the door only 213 years ago
to keep predators away
- a practice to make schools SAFE! -
Schools were GUN ZONES then.
In the year 1800,
Children of the present day would be somewhat startled
to go to school attended by large dogs, to keep off the bears and other wild animals, to study all day by the crackle of the great fire and back logs, to hear the howling of wolves at rollcall, and see the teacher take from its resting place over the door, a trusty rifle to guard the way home. Such were the first schools in 1800.
Periwinkle, The Sentinel, Feb 21, 1874 [Ticonderoga Sentinal, Ticonderoga, NY]
GUNS should be used in schools to keep all predators away, including 2 footed ones as well as 4 footed ones, as they did in America before.
