9 die in fire destroying Argentine bank archives
Washington Post ^ | 2-25-14 | AP

Nine first-responders were killed and seven others injured as they battled a fire of unknown origin that destroyed an archive of corporate and banking industry documents in Argentina’s capital on Wednesday.

The fire at the Iron Mountain warehouse took hours to control and at least half of the sprawling building was ruined despite the efforts of at least 10 squads of firefighters.

Speaking of destroyed depository buildings, did anybody ever figure out where all the gold in the sub-basement vault of the World Trade Center went after 9/11?

well, the cleaning of the slate which occurred when bldg. seven was destroyed on 911 is certainly not related to this fire. I mean, ENRON and German Gold, and ... well, you get the picture, hopefully.

The story date is 02/05/2014 rather than 02/24/2014. (Or we could contact Iron Mountain and let them know what is about to happen!)

Same thing happened to a bunch of records in a storage facility in Little Rock. As I recollect, a bunch Rose Law firm or Madison Savings Whitewater records. Entire floor burned. Poof! Subpoena and discovery problems disappear! Mysterious!

They have multiple locations for copies of the same information. When I worked for a bank we actually had three copies of all of our customer data. One used by the bank, one at a safe site and one in transit.

Iron mountain’s job is to be that safe. That way the destruction of one site does not impact anything.

The Report from Iron Mountain

I read that book when it first came out. It was loaned to me by an employee of a government agency which I won't name. He wondered if I knew anything about the project that allegedly gave rise to it.

It was obvious to me that the whole thing was either a spoof, or it was a clever attempt to put across a false view of the effects of government spending. As a practicing operations analyst I knew that the kind of computer model they described was impossible at that time (it still is). As a writer of science fiction, I also recognized some literary ploys in the book that convinced me it was fiction.

I was not at all surprised when the author later admitted that it was fiction. What did surprise me was how many people were taken in by it.

Years later I was a visiting professor at a university in Istanbul. My office-mate was another American who taught International Engineering Law. One of her students listed the book as a reference in a paper he wrote for her class. I had to bring the bad news that the book was a fake. I'm not sure the student ever accepted that.

Foreign interests used their foreign-contolled socialist (fascist) government in Argentina to outlaw domestic production for Argentines after buying it all up. Their globalist debt regime in Argentina then eventually collapsed for lack of domestic production and revenues. Most manufacturing in Argentina was shut down long ago. Even agriculture was owned by foreign interests, while the country was robbed of natural resources. Now, most of what you see about Argentina is global interest propaganda sponsored by international slavers.

This was coordinated and deliberate. Something was archived that needed to disappear without raising suspicions.

Good thing there was nothing suspicious here, eh?

Don’t they use halon as well? I’m not into conspiracy theories in general but i can’t believe that a halon system also failed without proof.

Halon is old tech. I believe the EPA scuttled halon as an allowed suppression chemical in the late 90s, but I could be off by a decade.

FE13 and newer FE25 are the standards for data centers, as they’re non-conductive and server/switching equipment will be unharmed when it’s deployed.

And obviously with sprinklers still being used as a last resort, unless this data center was not equipped with redundant or failover fire suppression (which I highly doubt), a failure of multiple systems is so unlikely as to be improbable and difficult to comprehend.

Firstly, halon 1211 is MILES better than the named replacements that you mentioned. Just look at the fire suppression numbers.
Second, this is Argentina, not the epa swamp that is the new America, or even the socialist states of Europe.
The rest of the world uses halon 1211 and be damned to the miniscule ozone depletion compared to a roaring fire releasing God knows what.
Also, you can buy halon w/1211 online, just nowhere will recharge it for you.
